I bought one ATSF and two of the CP version cars with clamshell ends and roof. The detail on the car is second to none, but it is sturdy enough to run regularly on a layout in operations. It also works well with other manufacturers. The price point is high, but not out of range for new tooled models coming out in 2023-2024. I will definitely try to add additional units, though the price point will limit purchase power. It took about two weeks from order to ship. I did email the company as the time period was a little long. However, they delivered exactly what they said they would. Packaging protected the cars well, and in all this was a very satisfactory purchase and transaction.
My ATSF car will be reworked as a prototype freelance car and the change will make a remarkable car from a remarkable company!

If you are on the fence, buy a couple and see for yourself!

While this is a “less common” prototype, it is a definite necessity to include into your collection to gain variety. I have long liked this car since my first model from which Overland released in the 90ies.

I was interested in these models as they are early enclosed autoracks which I could fit into the era that I model which ends in 1976. I ordered both N&W models. While the cost of the model is somewhat high, the quality of the model does make it worth the price. I am extremely happy with the detail.
